Hi, I'm appering CAT for last 2 years.Cosidering my profile (As i'm not beginner),can u tell me which is the book to go through. 1.Quantum CAT by arihant publication by saervesh kumar verma 2.Quantitaive aptitude by arun sharma #.Quantitaive aptitude for CAT by nishit sinha I khow these are good books. But i want to know quick process of solving problem,good question,basic concept aprt from generally known in IMS n CL.Please help Sujit

There were a lot of discussion on these books in this forum and most agreed that Quantitaive aptitude for CAT by nishit sinha is the best and Quantum CAT by arihant publication by saervesh kumar verma is also quite good. I have both of them and both are worth purchasing.

For english I would suggest you the book byArun Sharma . The book is without any doubt the best book for RC, however it does lack a bit in the critical reasoning part .

As far as price of Arihant 's Quantam CAT goes I got brand new edition for  Rs 220 and prices should not certainly vary a great deal.with location . I live in Lucknow.

One of my Quant Faculty in TIME had suggested "Quantitative Aptitude for CAT" By K.Kundan & P.Pandey, Cats Eye Publication. This book is really good one. Even those who are good in Numbers, Geometry, P&C, Inequalityetc have certainly some value addition by tricks and techniques. I also want to suggest this book to my friends apart from other book bcoz this year I am hoping very good percentile Score in comparison to last year's(95.43%).

Hello Anumeha and Folks,

I am hunting for the book Quantitative aptitude for CAT by K.Kundan & P.pandey, Catseye publication(a unit of BSC) in Bangalore, I was suprised when, most of the book retailers said that there is no such book available in market.

Can anyone of you please let me know where can i procure it, like online etc.

Quant: help needed urgently

Its a request please all the experienced CAT takers with good score in quant with equal time distribution reply to this query. 

 I have taken CAt twice 2006 & 07 with 92% and 91% resp. All the 3 sections are equally good but i scored 70% n 60% in quant. 

QUANT: Strong areas- Num sys, Geometry, TSDW . Weak : PnC, Algebra, probablity. I just have 1 month n im alrdy starting my prep v late so pls tell me which book shd i refer to revise the stronger areas n strengthen the fundas of others. I ve prepared from CL material for last 2 yrs and refered BRM but not satisfied. Pls suggest only 1 book preferably with good explaination of PnC, probability and Algebra concepts and im not looking for v tough or tough questions just the CAT types and worth attempting.

DI: I ve never prepared DI well so any book with good DI sets that are recent CAT types logical and not so calculative.

May be Im being too specific but thats precisely what i want. Please reply asap.
